Very nice and lightweight shoe. I wore these on 4 hiking trails (Lion Mountain, Calebasses& Robinson peaks and Candos Hill) and was impressed with them. The outsole really the best grip of all hiking shoes or boots i’ve worn so far on rocky surfaces, grass. I even had to step on wet rocks during some light rain and i felt confident and never had to worry i would fall, let alone slipping i did not even skid with these on. The negatives are that the cushioning is not the best compared to other brands i’ve worn from Salomon or Grisport or to another model from the Merrell Chameleon 7 and the front of the shoe is not reinforced enough to protect the toes from bumps. They are also a little small in the toe box, Hence i would rate them 4/5. Good value for the price
